Indonesia Collective

Our journeys will focus on a few highlights in Indonesia. The first is the endangered orangutans in their natural habitat in Borneo and Sumatra. The Indonesian forests and old growth trees critical to the orangutans’ survival have been burning down for the farming of palm oil, a raw ingredient vastly used in food and beauty products. We will also present a different Bali, because it is over-crowded in the popular hot spots. It’s now too easy to get on the wrong path here yet difficult to find your way to the real Bali, what it used to be like before the movie Eat, Pray, Love brought the throngs of tourists to the island. We know how to do Bali replete of the predictable resorts, unruly crowds and the ever present tour groups and buses.
