Seize the Moment
If you dream of building or owning property in paradise for holidays, retirement or income, San Vicente, Palawan presents a compelling investment opportunity today. San Vicente, a first-class municipality located just 1.5 hour south of El Nido and 3 hours north of Puerto Princesa, is home to the longest white sand beach in the Philippines, roughly three times the length of Boracay’s famed White Beach. With the highly anticipated opening of the brand new San Vicente Airport, the time to invest in San Vicente is now.
HISTORY
San Vicente's 14.7-kilometer beachfront, popularly called Long Beach, is being converted into an emerging tourist destination, one benefiting from the Philippine government’s commitment to invest in infrastructure. Back in 2013, San Vicente became the Philippines’ Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone (TEZ) by Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), a development arm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), setting it into its current path to a world-class tourist destination.
A MASTER PLAN
To accelerate the government’s vision proclamation of San Vicente as the Philippines’ Flagship TEZ, a Tourism Master Plan was commissioned to be developed by the award-winning Palafox Associates, a globally recognized architectural and urban planning firm founded by Felino A. Palafox, Jr. — a prominent Filipino architect, urban planner and environmentalist.
The San Vicente Palawan Master Plan was established to deliver a sustainable and environment-friendly development plan containing significant information about San Vicente, tourism projections based on other famous tourist destinations, proposed developments and proposed restrictions. There are two distinct plans that was produced from this exercise:
a Conceptual Tourism Master Plan (CTMP) for San Vicente, Palawan, and;
an Integrated Tourism Master Plan for the Long Beach area.
The Master Plan also identifies key areas and divided San Vicente Palawan into 4 clusters, based on development & tourism potentials, including but not limited to: sun and shoreline, relaxation and stimulation, recreational and sports tourism, eco-tourism and agri-tourism.
SAN VICENTE MASTER PLAN
San Vicente, in the northwestern side of the main island of Palawan, has attracted visitors and investors with its pristine beaches, marine life, rice fields and 82,000 hectares of forests. One of the first projects to be funded by TIEZA is access to the beach approximately every 400 meters, which is the average walking threshold for most Filipinos.
